Thump… Thump… Thump… 

There is a third heart beat. Its calm, almost like it’s taunting me. Telling me that I am no 

threat. 

“Hello, Damion.” I mans voice says into the microphone. 

I wince at the loudness, I wasn’t prepared for him to talk using the mic so my hearing was turned onto the extreme. I steady myself and look up to where the sound was coming from. 

There is nobody there, but I can sense him. 

I start to look around until his voice catches my attention. 

“Over heeere.” He teases. 

I snap my head to the top of the stands, and there I see a man. He has brown hair, and 

looks about forty. I have never seen him before in human form, but there is no mistaking 

its the same wolf who attacked me at Lee’s house. 

“What do you want?” I ask him in my Alpha voice. I am a little louder than talking, but not quite yelling because I know he’ll be able to hear me. 

“It isn’t obvious?… Hmmm, I guess not.” He says and the puts the microphone down. 

He starts to walk down the steps of the bleachers until he reaches the last one, and 

then he stops. He wears a cocky grin while putting his hands in his jean pockets. 

“I want your mate, and I want your power.” He says as if it is the most simple thing in the world. 

I scrunch my face in disgust, “She’s sixteen. Why do you want a child as your mate? What are you a pedo?”

“No. She’s for my son. He likes her.” He says the last part with a small shrug that infuriates.

“We’ll get to that… in time. Although, you will be nearly dead by then and my son will have your power.” 

My brows furrow, “You want your son to be an Alpha? You can’t just become one.” 

He tilts his head to the side and smirks. “You don’t know? Ahh seems dear old dad as been hiding a few things from you little Alpha.” 

I growl at the nickname as he laughs lightly while putting his hands up in surrender. “What exactly has he been hiding?” I ask. 

He once again smirk, “Have you noticed your eye changing? Your wolf eyes I mean.” 

“No. Why? What do my eyes have to do with anything?” 

He pauses a moment and seems to think about his words carefully, “There is a sort of… prophecy about an Alpha who has the power of the moon inside of him. It is said that on the night of his birth, a blood moon occurred. He was blessed with the power by the moon goddess herself, and it will only manifest when he finds his mate.” 

“What makes you think I’m this powerful Alpha from your story?” I ask. 

Lee groans and my eyes shoot to her. I go to help her before his voice catches my attention. again. 

“I wouldn’t do that. My son can be very territorial. He’s seen you with her for long enough, now its his turn.”

“She’s mine. Fuck your son.” I say feeling angry that he even dared to say that his son and Lee will be together. 

“That’s not very nice.” Another voice to my loft 

says.

I look over and my blood boils. I fucking knew it. Him and his little games may have fooled Lee, but they sure as hell didn’t fool me. He was never just her friend. 

“You.” I say with distaste. 

“Me.” He says with a smirk. 

The blonde haired, green eyed boy looks down at Lee and frowns. Then, his gaze goes to the older man. “I thought you said you wouldn’t hurt her.” 

He shrugs, “She kept fighting.” 

He grunts and speeds over to Lee. I have to keep my eyes from widen in shock at how fast he moved. Turns out he’s a fucking werewolf too. Great. Just great. 

“Lee, baby.” He whisper. 

“Don’t fucking call her that!” I snap at him as I start to walk towards him and Lee. 

Growls start to surround me, and suddenly I realize that these aren’t the only rogues. He is the fucking Alpha of a pack of rogues. This keeps getting better and better. 

I stop in my tracks and look around the edge of the field that is surrounded by trees on all sides except one. About three dozen glowing eyes stare back at me. 

I watch as he tucks her hair behind her ear and brushes his hand down her cheek. 

She groans again and her eye start to slowly blink open. “My head.” She says lowly. 

“I know baby.” He responds. 

Her eye brows furrow into an adorable frown, “Alex? What are you doing here? What’s going on?” she asks. 

“Yeah, Alex. What’s going on? I’m sure Lee would love to hear it.” I bite out as I hold myself back from dismembering him for touching her. 

Lee turns her head toward me and she lets out a breath, “Damion.”

I smile softly at her, “Hey sweetheart. Its gonna be ok.” 

She looks around and blinks to adjust to the bright lights that surround us. Then, that Alex fucker helps her sit up. His hand rubs up and down her back, comforting her. I grit my teeth as my eyes flare glowing blue.
