My body went rigid in an instant. 

“You’re supposed to be Alpha Frank’s mistress. How come you don’t seem to have any reaction at all upon hearing that he has a fiancée?”

Seeing that I remained silent, Rosy must have thought I was stunned into stupidity.

I froze for a moment. 

So, it seemed that Alpha Frank had already had everything planned out. The Blood Moon Pack released those posters to make him dump me, and then he’d go ahead with his union with Rosy.

Before I could even react, Rosy raised her hand, aiming a slap at me. 

In a split–second response, I swiveled my arm and pushed Rosy with all my might. 

She stumbled backwards and landed on the floor with a thud. 

My back slammed hard against the edge of the table, and my entire body toppled to the ground. 

My head hit the floor, and a searing pain shot through me. 

Just then, the door was flung open with a bang.

I lifted my head, and there I saw Alpha Frank striding towards us. 

In an instant, he was by my side, his hands gently supporting me. His voice trembled slightly as he asked, “Yulia, are you okay?” 

Rosy stared at him in disbelief. “Alpha Frank, I’m your fiancée!!” she cried out. 

Alpha Frank didn’t even spare her a glance. 

“Rosy, I’m warning you. If you ever dare to harass Yulia again, you’ll pay the price,” 

With that, Alpha Frank closed the door firmly.
