Chapter 14

Third-Person POV

“Alpha, if you insist on causing trouble,” one of the Silver Claw guards growled, “don’t blame us for handling it the hard way.”

Alpha Simon ignored the warning. His bloodshot eyes never left Judy.

But before the guards could act, Judy’s father stepped forward.

With a clenched fist, he punched Simon straight

across the jaw, the crack of impact echoing through the hall.

“I’ve tolerated enough, Alpha Simon!” he

snarled. “You strung my daughter along for five

years and still refused to marry her. You lied to her-postponed the wedding—then turned around and used her venue to marry another woman?! After everything she’s sacrificed for you, you betrayed her again and again. Keep acting like this, and I swear, I’ll beat you within an inch of your life for her!”

Simon staggered, his cheek already swelling. but his voice was hoarse and defiant.

“I’m not leaving! I’ll never leave! Let me marry

her. Uncle-if you give us your blessing, I’ll marry Judy right now. I swear, I’ll treat her right

from now on!”

He looked pitiful-blood on his lip, desperation. in his voice-but still, he wouldn’t walk away.

Grayson’s father, seated off to the side, finally

stood. He hadn’t said a word until now, but

the sharp glint in his eyes sent tension slicing

through the room.

He gave a subtle nod.

Without hesitation, several of Grayson’s men

stepped forward and descended on Simon. This

time, they didn’t hold back. They struck fast,

precise, brutal.

Even as Simon coughed up blood, he refused to yield.

From the crowd, Wilona suddenly shouted, her

voice trembling.

“Judy! Are you really going to just stand there and watch him get beaten like this? Is this what you wanted to see what he’s become for you?”

Judy’s gaze flicked to Simon-bruised, broken, crumpled on the ground-and her expression

didn’t change.

She stepped forward.

Grayson moved immediately, blocking her path. “If you want him gone, just say the word.”

Judy gave a small shake of her head. “Thanks. But I’ll handle this myself.”

Simon lifted his bloody face as she approached. A broken smile crept onto his lips.

“Judy… marry me. Let’s do it now. I don’t care what anyone thinks. I just want you.”

She looked down at him, her voice flat. “Simon, stop lying to yourself. I don’t love you anymore. I’m not going to marry you.”

The words hit like a killing blow.

Simon’s face twisted in disbelief. “That’s

impossible! You… you loved me! For years! You can’t just stop!”

His voice cracked as he turned toward Grayson.

“You’ve been plotting this with him, haven’t

you?”

Wilona took her cue, quick to stir the flames.

“You betrayed Simon first, Judy! Don’t try to play the victim!”

Judy’s cold laugh cut through the chaos.

“I betrayed him?” She looked around the room. “The Olivers and the Steele family can all testify -Grayson and I met for the first time today. But you, Miss Wilona… you knew Simon and I were together, and yet you still insisted on becoming

his bride. Who’s the real traitor here?”

“I-there’s nothing between us! He married me for my illness, but he didn’t betray you!” Wilona snapped back,

Judy turned her eyes on Simon.

“And you? Simon, can you look me in the eye. and say you never hurt me?”

Simon faltered. His eyes darted nervously. Then, after a long pause, he shook his head.

slowly.

“No… no, Judy. Wilona and I are innocent. Nothing ever happened. I only ever loved you.”

Whatever remained of Judy’s hope for him

crumbled right then.

So this was what he had chosen-lie upon lie.

She closed her eyes and drew in a slow,

controlled breath.

Then she turned and handed her phone to the wedding staff.

“Please project these on the screen.”

The staff hesitated as they glanced at the images-but then nodded and connected the phone to the display.

Chapter 14

The guests murmured in confusion, but then

the images lit up on the giant screen-one after

another.

Photos. Messages.

Intimate photos of Alpha Simon and Wilona tangled together in bed.

Screenshots of the shameless texts Wilona had

sent Judy, dripping with smugness and spite.

Every dirty secret laid bare before the entire

room.

A wave of gasps, disbelief, and outrage rippled through the guests.

“Oh Moon Goddess…”

“This is what they call innocent?”

“They were lying the whole time!”

Simon stood frozen, too stunned to speak. Wilona’s mouth fell open in horror, her face draining of color.

She turned to Judy, trembling. “Y-you kept all of

it… even the messages…”

Judy didn’t even flinch.

Suddenly, Simon spun toward Wilona and grabbed her wrist, rage erupting from deep

within him.

“Wilona! I told you to stay quiet-to know your place! Why the hell would you send those photos to her?! Are you insane?!”

His voice was rough and wild. His wolf stirred violently, unhinged by humiliation.

Wilona’s eyes widened in fear. “I—I’m sorry, Simon. I just love you so much—I didn’t know

what else to do…”

Judy’s voice cut through the chaos, exhausted and resolute. “Simon, do you have anything else to say?”

He didn’t answer.

Instead, Simon collapsed to his knees, head

bowed low, blood dripping from his mouth

onto the floor.

Silent.

Broken.

Judy’s father raised a hand, and without another word, his men dragged Simon away.

This time, he didn’t fight it.
