Yvette looked at Summer. “So what do you plan to do?” 

Summer thought for a moment, and a cold glint flashed through her eyes. “I’ll be discharged tomorrow. Let’s give her a proper surprise then. 

She had nearly lost her baby this time. There was no way she’d let Morgan walk away from that. 

Yvette gave her a playful look, winking suggestively. 

“Geez, Bossman’s been treating you like a porcelain doll, huh? Won’t even let you get out of bed until you’re discharged–feeding you, bathing you… I bet he even helped you wash up. didn’t he?” 

Summer’s face instantly turned red, her checks flushed at the memory of him helping her bathe the night before. 

Yvette teasingly pinched her soft earlobe. “What’s with that shy look? Don’t forget, I’ve got a man too. Didn’t you once say your Bossman went at it seven times in one night? Mine’s not bad either. Five rounds in one night–not too shabby.” 

At the door, Fraser and Xavier stood frozen, both staring at each other with dark expressions. 

Fraser thought, You went five times in one night? 

Xavier thought, You went seven?! 

Fraser frowned. “Keep Yvette away from my woman before she teaches her nonsense.” 

Xavier, clearly offended, defended his girlfriend. “What’s wrong with Yvette? She’s just straightforward. Honestly, Summer’s been too sheltered by you. As the future Mrs. Graham, she’s going to meet all kinds of people. You won’t always be there.” 

He wasn’t wrong- 

Fraser couldn’t be by Summer’s side every minute of the day. 

That’s why Fraser had already decided–he was assigning bodyguards to protect her closely from 

now on.

Fraser went straight to the bed, his eyes soft as he looked at Summer. “Did you take your supplements?” 

Summer nodded sweetly. “I took the morning and noon ones.”

Yvette finally realized he was kicking her out. Was he seriously kicking her out? 

She was about to speak, but Xavier beat her to it. “Come on, Yvette. Let’s go on a date.” 

Yvette gave him a side–eye. “A date? I’ve got tons of things to do.” 

He scooped her up and started walking out. “Too bad. I want to go on a date with you.” 

“Hey! Don’t drag me! I wasn’t done talking with Summer!” 

And just like that, Yvette was swept away. 

Summer was speechless. 

The room fell into a peaceful quict. Just the two of them now. 

Fraser sat beside the bed, his dark eyes silently scanning her face. 

Her complexion looked much better now, her bright, clear eyes shining again. Just looking at her made something in him soften. 

His gaze deepened. He picked up her delicate hand, brought it to his lips, and gently bit her fingertip. 

A soft tingling sensation tickled her skin–it felt like feathers brushing through her chest.. 

Summer’s lips curved up. “Don’t you have work?” 

“Not urgent.” 

“Oh.” Summer hesitated. She wanted to ask about the Graham Group’s upcoming consortium meeting but didn’t know how to bring it up. If it weren’t for her, Fraser wouldn’t be dealing with 

all this. 

Fraser looked at her, voice calm and serious. “Summer, once you’re out of the hospital, let’s go get our marriage license.”
