Ch. Chapter 8 Crimes Without Evidence Ch 8

The girl hated her best friend, and hated her boyfriend even more. She wanted revenge, to kill those two animals with her own hands.

But the boy stopped her.

He said the true culprit behind the scenes hadn’t been found yet, so they couldn’t act now.

If they were going to kill, they had to wipe them all out at once.

From then on, their small family of three people became just two people.

And those two people’s sole purpose for the rest of their lives  was revenge.

The girl deliberately bought an apartment on the 18th floor.

From the day her sister died, she was no longer human.

She was an evil spirit from the 18th level of hell, suffering torment  every day, thinking of revenge every day.

She wanted to divorce the boy, not wanting to drag this poor boy down with her.

The boy refused, and handed the girl a lab report.

“Darling, I have cancer… I don’t have long to live.”

He smiled, but tears flowed from his eyes.

“Your sister wasn’t just your family,she was my family too…”

“I’ll help you…”

The boy began searching the entire internet for clues about the West Side Killer, not wanting to miss any details.

He spent a fortune on the dark web buying dozens of photos of the West Side Killer torturing girls.

And so the two of them pursued the killer for two years. To lure the killer, the girl dyed her hair golden and deliberately frequented crowded places like bars and dance halls.

It was all to attract the killer.

Finally, he took the bait.

One day, on her way home, the girl sensed someone following her.

But she wasn’t afraid; on the contrary, she was excited.

She had waited too long for this day.

Beneath the golden hair, streaks of white were hidden.

The West Side Killer didn’t act rashly.

The next day, a college professor moved in downstairs from the girl.

A deep-seated hatred told the girl that he was the killer.

So, she deliberately approached him, even intentionally trying to seduce him.

Then, the boy and the girl took action.

Under the girl’s deliberate charm offensive, her best friend thought  she had truly forgotten about her sister’s vendetta.

But she was still uneasy, so she thought about seducing her boyfriend to isolate her.

The boy agreed.

That girl entered her best friend’s house early, hiding under the bed.

Meanwhile, the boy pretended to be seduced.

After entering the house, she was brutally murdered and dismembered by the two of them.

At that moment, the best friend’s boyfriend also returned.

This beast naturally couldn’t escape death either.

Then came the most crucial step.

The girl pretended to be a victim of domestic violence by the boy, running to his doorstep seeking refuge. The professor was ecstatic, thinking the girl had wandered into the tiger’s den, delivering herself right to his doorstep.

Little did he know, he was the prey.

Once inside, the girl began kissing the professor.

Her lipstick was laced with a drug.

The professor quickly lost consciousness.

And then…

I looked up at the two police officers.

“Then their revenge began.”

“Gouging eyes, cutting out tongues, death by a thousand cuts all manner of torture was  inflicted on this beast.”

“He tormented my sister for two hours, so the girl would torment him for four.”

“But he couldn’t die. He had to live, suffering in agony.”

I blurted out these words in one  breath, then suddenly began to laugh maniacally.

“Officers, did you enjoy that story?”

I laughed wildly, my eyes full of despair.

The older cop’s eyes grew moist.

He fell silent and walked out with the crying female officer.

The next day, I was released. Innocent until proven guilty – they couldn’t find any evidence to arrest me.

Before I left the station, the older cop patted my shoulder and sighed.

“Emily, live well. It should all be over now!”

I gave a bitter smile and shook my head.

This will never be over.

I’m still alive, after all.
