Chapter 24

Jason still maintained his position standing in place, nodding stiffly.

Soon the girl opened her phone to record, and after a burst of noise, the familiar long–lost voice came through the speaker.

“Jason, when you hear these words, I should have already left this world.

Jason finally spoke slowly, “Could you please send me a copy of these recordings?”

After Kathryn left, Jason curled up on the floor and repeatedly listened to this short recording.
