Chapter 24 Participate in the Hockey Competition
Fiorella would never forget the venom in Juliette’s eyes, nor Jamila standing in the distance, feigning indifference while secretly filming with a sly smirk.
This time, Juliette’s arrival surely meant trouble.
“Why is the head of the Department of Sports coming to our class?”
“Yeah, doesn’t she always look down on regular classes? And she’s looking for Fiorella?”
As everyone buzzed with speculation, Juliette had already entered the classroom.
“Is Fiorella in this class?”
She repeated her question, clearly annoyed.
The surrounding chatter grew louder. No one knew what was happening, so they all turned to look at Fiorella.
The glances had already given her away. Fiorella didn’t intend to hide. She stood up, her expression cold as she stared at Juliette.
“Do you need something from me?”
Juliette didn’t notice the displeasure in Fiorella’s eyes, merely gesturing with a hook of her finger.
“I need to speak with you privately. Come with me.”
“Can’t we just talk here?”

Fiorella asked cautiously.
“No. Some matters are best discussed elsewhere. Come along, or you’ll regret it!”
Juliette’s bossy attitude made Fiorella sneer.
What could possibly be so confidential that it warranted a hushed conversation, away from the watchful eyes of her classmates?
Fiorella had barely even spoken to Juliette since arriving at the school. Why was she being targeted?
The only possibility was that Jamila had sent her.
Fiorella had a pretty good guess about what it was, so she reluctantly nodded.
“Alright.”
Fiorella packed up her books and stood up, leaving the classroom with Juliette.
As soon as they left, the students started talking among themselves.
“Did Fiorella and Juliette know each other before?“.
“That’s unlikely. Fiorella just transferred here, and her attitude doesn’t seem like she knows her.”
“Is Fiorella in trouble?”
The classmates looked at each other, all feeling a bit worried.
After all, everyone in the grade knew what kind of person Juliette was.
Fiorella being called away by her definitely meant no good.

But none of them wanted to provoke Juliette, so no one stepped forward.
Miranda and Jacqueline exchanged glances, and Jacqueline took out her phone, recording everything that had just happened.
Juliette walked ahead, with Fiorella following closely behind.
Neither of them spoke during the walk, maintaining silence.
Fiorella wasn’t sure what Juliette was up to, so she quietly and carefully observed her surroundings.
It wasn’t until they reached a secluded corridor that Juliette spoke.
“I hear you’re quite skilled at hockey?”
“Just people exaggerating.”
“The Sports and Arts Festival is coming up soon. Do you have any plans to participate?”
At first, it sounded like a polite inquiry, but her unusual attitude made Fiorella cautious.
“No.”
It wasn’t a lie.
In Fiorella’s mind, focusing on her current studies was more important than participating in the Sports and Arts Festival.
This month’s exam was very important to her.
Hearing that she didn’t want to participate, Juliette breathed a sigh of relief.

It seemed she wouldn’t have to resort to force.
After all, she didn’t want to cause herself trouble either.
“Let’s cut the chase. I need a favor from you.”
Juliette suddenly turned around, startling Fiorella with her words.
“A favor from me?”
Fiorella furrowed her brows in confusion.
“Yes.”
Juliette was blunt. “I want you to participate in the hockey competition at the Sports and Arts Festival in my place.”
