Fiorella frowned, but Juliette didn’t notice her mood and continued talking non–stop.
“You know the Sports and Arts Festival is approaching soon. As the head of the Department of Sports, I need to achieve results that match my position to show everyone my strength. But…” she changed her tone, “I’ve been very busy lately. The monthly exams are approaching soon, and I have no time for training. So, I need your help.”
Fiorella understood what Juliette was implying.
“So, you want me to cheat for you, right?”
Seeing Fiorella’s understanding, Juliette nodded in approval, appreciating her perceptiveness, which saved her trouble.
“I heard you’re really good at hockey, so winning the championship for me should be a piece of cake, right? Don’t worry, I’ll pay you.”
At this point, Juliette no longer hid her intentions.
Hearing this, Fiorella almost laughed out loud.
So, that was the reason Juliette came to meet her.
“Can’t you ask someone else for help?”
Fiorella’s words showed she was reluctant to agree.
Juliette curled her lips. “Everyone else is already signed up for the Sports and Arts Festival. Besides, I want to win the championship. I

won’t settle for second or third place!”
Fiorella sensed something but didn’t show it. She pretended to be in a dilemma and said, “Isn’t this wrong? This is cheating. The Sports and Arts Festival is an important event.”
“How can that possibly be cheating?” Juliette interrupted her with a forced smile. “I’m just asking for a favor. It’s a simple task for you, right? You don’t seem particularly concerned about the rankings in the Sports and Arts Festival anyway, so what’s the harm in lending me a hand? Besides, I’m the head of the Sports Department. Consider it an investment. If you help me out, I’ll definitely have your back in the future.”
Juliette thought she had offered an irresistible condition, but Fiorella almost laughed.
This position as the head of the Department of Sports was something Jamila helped her get. Juliette had no real strength herself.
And the promise of Juliette’s support?
It was true that if Juliette was on her side, with her domineering personality, she could help Fiorella to some extent. However, Juliette was Jamila’s follower.
It was even possible that she was sent here by Jamila’s influence.
Fiorella knew she definitely couldn’t trust Juliette.
Moreover, how long could Juliette, who was constantly manipulated by Jamila, maintain her position as the head of the Department of Sports? How much genuine help could she ever offer?
“Thank you for your ‘kindness.“” Fiorella smiled politely, clearly establishing a boundary, “But I refuse.”

She spoke succinctly yet firmly, “As the head of the Department of Sports, you should exhibit strength befitting the role and achieve convincing results. Instead of seeking assistance from others, or even bribing opponents to lose deliberately to save face. Fake is fake; it can never be authentic. I won’t agree to cheating for you. Please leave. I’ll pretend we never had this conversation.”
With that, she turned and walked away.
Juliette didn’t expect Fiorella to reject her so directly, feeling somewhat embarrassed.
After all, aside from wealthy families like Jamila’s, how many classmates flatter and beg for her protection? No one had ever dared to refuse Juliette’s requests.
But Fiorella, a commoner who had only been at the school for a few days, dared to speak to her like that? What was even more infuriating was Fiorella’s superior attitude, as if she pitied Juliette, implying that she wouldn’t report her cheating intention.
Juliette had never endured such disrespect. She lost her temper and abandoned her previous politeness, adopting a more aggressive demeanor.
“You have to do everything I tell you to, and you have no right to refuse. I am ordering you, not asking for a favor! Understand me? Don’t forget, I can make your life a living hell at this school.”
