That night, we had dinner together and drank a little for the first time.
The wind was a bit chilly.
The moment I shivered, Leo took off his jacket and draped it over my shoulders.
He didn’t leave after that. Instead, he knelt down and rested his head against my legs.

“Like a stray dog that’s finally found its home.”

“Villain: My wife’s hands smell so good. It would be even better if she slapped me with them.”
just felt a warm, ticklish sensation and tried to push him away. “Can you let go?”
Leo shook his head. “No. If I let go, you’ll disappear. Don’t send me away. I’ll be good. I’m very good. Please.”
With every word, the strange tickling in my palm intensified.
Until finally, he whispered my name. “Holly.”
And even my heart started to feel that itch.
