Starting Over, Standing Tall - Chapter 13
“Noah, let me go.”
“Sarah, you’ll die if you jump. Would you rather die than come back with me?” Noah still wouldn’t let go.
“Noah, even if I die, I won’t go back with you.”
I will never forget the year he caused a minor actress to have a miscarriage.
The news was on the hot search for a week.
I had asked him for a divorce.
Noah said I was being disobedient.
He didn’t let me see Billy and locked me in a cage in the basement.
It was a nightmare for 3 months.
I could imagine that this time if he brought me back to the city, he would definitely hide me.
I bit Noah’s hand.
He frowned in pain, but still wouldn’t let go.
I slowly pried his fingers open.
“Noah, goodbye.”
“Sarah, no.”
Amid his heart-wrenching roar, I jumped.
I landed safely.
I had gambled right before jumping.
I observed the terrain and confirmed that this height wouldn’t be life-threatening before taking the risk.
Except for some scratches on my arms, I was unharmed.
My senior’s plane followed closely.
Back in Hong Kong, we held another wedding.
Ironically, Noah, witnessing me jump, thought I was dead.
With in days, he also jumped, falling into the same sea he had used to play a cruel joke on me on April Fool’s Day.
It turned out that everything was faded.
