Unforgivable - Chapter 5
It was Andrew, Scott’s brother.
“Miranda isn’t a Jones. She’s this driver’s daughter. I just pulled up the info. Take a look!”
So that’s it. Pam Williams is my dad’s driver’s kid. No wonder she got out of jail fast. The driver probably pulled some strings, using my dad’s name.
Andrew throws the files in Scott’s face. He helps me up. Scott doesn’t even glance at the files. He grabs Andrew, swings, and nails him one.
“Andrew! Don’t think I don’t know what you’re up to! You always used your so–called skills to get whatever you wanted. Now you’re jealous because Miranda is going to marry me, right?”
“Let me tell you, Andrew. The day I marry Miranda is the day you’re out of the Scott corporation!”
Andrew wants to fight back, but Pam’s goons jump in and hit Andrew in the head with a club. Andrew goes down. Pam crosses her arms and comes forward.
“Alright, Scott. He’s your brother. Let’s not go too far. Drag him to the next room, okay?”
Andrew’s bleeding from his head, struggling, yelling, glaring at Scott with pure hate. But he can’t fight off those guys.
They haul him away.
I try to stop it, but my cuts have reopened. More blood comes from my head. I’m lying on the floor, whimpering.
That’s when Scott finally looks at me. He kneels, clenching his teeth.
“Do you know what being a billionaire’s daughter means? Do you know how much Jones loves his daughter?!”
“When she was five, Jones‘ wife was killed by his business enemies. She told Jones to protect their daughter.”
“Ever since, anyone who hurts Miranda gets paid back times a thousand.”
Scott grabs my chin, forcing me to look at him.
“When she was eight, her piano teacher tried to hurt her. The next day, they found him with both hands cut off.”
“When she was thirteen, some older girl tried to bully her. The next day, their whole family died.”
“When she was eighteen, a guy stalked her at night. The next day, they found his body in the woods. He was unrecognisable.”
“Chelsea, you should be thanking me. I’m saving you.”
I jump. I’m even more confused now. Those things Scott is talking about happened to me, not Pam.
The Driver!
Before I can think, Scott stomps on my bloody hand. Pam stabbed it with a knife. Scott is now stepping on my hand that has an open wound and crushing it.
The pain.
“Scott, I already told you that I am Jones’ daughter…”
Pam scoffs and kicks my head.
“You will die and still act up. Bitch, I will see how long you can be mad!”
I can’t say a thing. Everything is screaming in pain. I try to not pass out.
Soon.
My dad will rescue me. As I am about to not resist anymore, my dad’s voice comes to my ears.
“What are you doing!”
