He was shocked. His eyes were red. 

He couldn’t believe that I would leave him. 

I said calmly, “That’s right, Connor. Our 

wedding was called off half a year ago. There 

is a wedding, but it’s not with you.” 

Connor was like a wild dog that had lost its 

leash.

“No, no. Grace, tell me it’s fake. It’s fake.” 

“Tell me you are mad. Tell me you are joking. 

I will forgive you!” 

Forgive? At this moment, he was still 

forgiving me. 

I started laughing. I was mocking him. 

“Why would I ask for your forgiveness? For 

abandoning me and going to the mountain 

with Willow?” 

“For hurting me after you indulged her?” 

“Connor, don’t you know what you did to

Connor listened.

“Willow and I aren’t like you think…”

“Our wedding is cancelled. Your parents

I assumed that his hesitation was because of 

the connection between our families. 

So, I will make it clear. “My parents returned 

all the projects that we worked on together.” 

“All the profits belong to your family.” 

“There is nothing between us anymore.”

He had never seen me this angry. 

He didn’t think that I would cut off every 

connection between us. 

Connor left alone. 

I don’t know where he went. 

But I knew, we were done. 

Stacy wanted to comfort me, but I shook my 

head. 

I didn’t care, so there was no need to feel 

bad

I did not return to the house that night. 

Connor bought the house for our marriage. It 

had nothing to do with me. 

I should move out. 

I packed all my things. 

Connor didn’t notice. 

I moved into Stacy’s place. 

I asked my family’s bodyguard to get my 

stuff. 

Connor blocked them from entering the 

house. 

“Is Grace not coming back?”

“Miss said, she packed her things, and we will 

take them.”

Connor could not believe it. 

He ran upstairs. He saw my suitcases in my

My closet was empty. 

My makeup table was empty.
