I give him a blank look, “What?” 

“If you were to get pregnant what would we do?” 

“I don’t think we have to plan for that, we always use condoms. What’s this about?” 

“I know. This is just a precaution. Now that we are having sex we have to talk about stuff 

like this.” 

I hesitate, “Well what would you want to do?” I ask him. 

“Thats not up to me. It is your body and life. Whatever you decide I will be ok with.” 

“I don’t know, a baby is… a lot… Would you be there if I did keep it?” I ask trying to figure 

out what he wants. 

He smile, “Of course. I’ll never leave you.” 

I smile, “I think I would keep it… but this is only an if right?” 

“For now.” Is all he says. 

We had sex a few more times. And now we are naked in the couch as I sit on his lap. We are both tangled in the blankets as I trace his tattoos and I wonder what they mean, so I ask 

him. 

“The wolf on my back is a sort of… family thing.” He says while looking at my face and playing with my hair. 

“Hmmm, does your whole family have it?” 

“You could say that.”

My hand goes to the one on his heart and I smile, “We match.” I say as I hold up my left.

I look up at him with a tilted head and furrowed brow, “When did you get this one?” I ask

“The first day you came back.” 

My lips part slightly, “You got a tattoo that matched mine?” 

He nods. 

My hands trails up from his heart to his hair and I kiss him with everything I have. When we pull apart I set my forehead on his and sigh. 

“I love you.”

“I love you Damion.” I whisper. 

“Never stop saying that.”

“Hey!” I hear someone say as I am reading a book at work.

The same blonde haired, greened eyed boy I saw in the hallway at school smiles, “Sorry, I just saw you here and wanted to say hi.”

I smile, “I get it, my boyfriends the same way. He isn’t a fan of talking either, but I’d be happy to sit with you sometime. I know it can be hard not knowing anyone.” 

He nods, “Yeah, it can be. I usually sit under the bleachers, stop by sometime

He smiles big, “I’m Alex.” 

“Alex. Got it… Well did you find a book you liked?” I ask him. 

“Yeah, I did. I’ll go ahead and check out this one.” He says while putting the book he chose on the counter for me to scan it. I pick it up and look at the titl 

“Lycanthrope… Huh. Do you like wolves?” I ask while scanning it. 

He nods, “You could say that… A few places I have lived before had huge wolf populations. I was disappointed to see there weren’t any here.” 

I furrow my brow and put the book down, “You know, I thought the same thing but apparently there are. I guess there aren’t many though, so we don’t see them often.” 

“Really?” He asks while taking the book. 

I nod. 

“Where did you hear that?” 

“My boyfriend told me after I got scared when I saw one. I thought I was going crazy or something. But it turned out there are just wolves here that I didn’t know about.” 

“Huh. Where did you see one?”

“Actually, right outside. I was walking to my car late at night and I heard a growl. When I furned around there was a massive wolf. It scared the hell out of me. And then I saw one outside my window. I live by a lot of trees, and one day at four am one just came out of 

them.” 

He smiles, “Wow, that’s crazy… You know you shouldn’t be out alone at night.” 

I smile, “Yeah, yeah. My boyfriend already gave me this speech.” I playfully roll my eyes. 

He laughs, “Well, he’s right. Especially with these… wolves.” 

“Alright, I will try my best.” I tell Alex. 

“Good… Oh and who’s this boyfriend I keep hearing about?” 

I smile shyly, “His name is Damion. We are still pretty new, but we have known each other 

forever.” 

“Damion. That name sounds familiar.” 

“You might know him because he’s on the football team. Alsooo, I don’t mean to brag or anything but he is the hottest guy in school.” I say playfully. 

We both laugh, “Well that must be it.” 

Then, we sober up and he looks at the door with his brows a little furrowed. “I better get going. I will see you around.” He says while picking up his book.
