In the second round, as the fireworks rose and burst into a dazzling display, Lucian and Ayla both bent down and lowered their heads, kissing Willow’s cheeks lovingly.

This beautiful moment was recorded in a video and displaced on the screen on the busiest place of the city.

One of the onlookers sighed, “Impressive. Mr. Silvermane really dotes on his daughter.”

Another onlooker remarked, “Well, of course. He loves that girl’s mom, so he loves her too.”

Voices of envy and praise kept entering my ears.

But my eyes were bloodshot as I tightly wrapped my daughter’s urn in my arms.

I couldn’t be more heartbroken.

I covered my daughter’s urn with my hand as if she could still see it and whispered to her ashes sadly, “Darling, don’t look at it!”

I didn’t want Aurora to be upset.

This was where Lucian and I lived. I tramped up the stairs and entered Aurora’s room.

After packing up Aurora’s belongings, I sat on Aurora’s small bed all night, holding her urn.

The next morning, as I was heading downstairs, I bumped into a tall, handsome figure.

It was Lucian, my heartless Alphpa husband.

He didn’t look at me, his expression as indifferent as ever.

He asked concisely, “Where is Aurora?”

I sneered mockingly. Aurora had been dead for three days.

Now, he finally remembered her.

Lucian furrowed his brows and cast a displeased glance at me.

He thought I was giving him the cold shoulder because he stood Aurora up two days ago.

But he didn’t argue with me.

Suppressing his displeasure, he said in a deep voice, “I came to take Aurora to the playground.”

Hearing him mention it, I felt a sudden pang in my heart.

I would never forget the scene when I arrived there after I received a call and was told to rush to the playground.

He just cast a cold glance at me, warning me not to do anything crazy again.

Then, he walked upstairs. He was about to see Aurora himself.

Just after he took a few steps, his phone rang.

The special ringtone made him immediately stop in his tracks.

He quickly took out his phone and answered it.
