The wind blew Jocelynn’s hair in disarray, and she gathered her hair and smiled, saying, “You see, you still haven’t understood what I mean. We were no longer suitable to be together.”

The man’s face remained calm as he stared at him for a few moments before quietly leaving. 

On the other side, Marcel saw his sister come back and asked with concern, “Why did it take you so long to come back?” 

Jocelynn didn’t want to talk about those unpleasant things, so she made up an excuse. 

“Encountered a barking dog.” 

Marcel noticed the anomaly in it, but she didn’t want to say more, and he didn’t ask further. 

The two of them stayed at the banquet for a while and then left. 

Originally, Marcel generally did not attend this kind of high-class banquet, but he decided to attend it because Jocelynn had never participated in any high society banquets. 

Jocelynn, after drinking alcohol, came back home, took a shower, and then fell asleep in bed.
