That night, we had a graduation dinner. 

Sienna suddenly pulled a stack of pretty envelopes from her bag. 

“After graduation everyone will be busy. We might not see each other every day.” 

“So I secretly had you all write letters. Tonight we’ll open them together.” 

Adrian smiled and tapped her head. 

“You and your little rituals.” 

He complained, but he was the first to pull out his letter he had prepared beforehand. 

Julian and Kael each took out three envelopes too. 

So they’d already arranged it. 

Only I hadn’t known. 

After the letters were handed out, everyone had three in front of them. 

Sienna looked down and opened her letters, her eyes slowly reddening. 

Adrian’s letter told her not to stay up so late. 

Julian promised to answer her calls no matter how late it was. 

Kael said he hoped she’d always be happy and never feel like she was about to lose something. 

I sat beside them, the space before me empty. 

No one had written to me. 

Naturally, I hadn’t prepared one for anyone either. 

Sienna finally noticed me and asked quietly, 

“Freya, didn’t Julian tell you?” 

Julian paused. 

“I thought Kael would tell you.” 

Kael frowned.

Adrian took out his phone and scrolled through it. Only then did he realize that when they’d prepared the 

graduation letters, they’d made a separate four-person PackChat group. 

He looked awkward. 

“It was just a group we threw together.” 

“It’s fine. You and Kael are living together after graduation. You two are one. If he wrote to us, it’s the same 

as you writing to us.” 

Kael took the opportunity to fold up the letter he’d written to Sienna, as if there were something I shouldn’t 

see. 

“There’s plenty of time later. I’ll write you one when we get back.” 

I smiled.

“After everyone moves into Maplewood Apartments, we can still have dinner together all the time.”

“The four of us already rented places in the same apartment community.”

Kael and Sienna had even rented apartments on the same floor.

“Why are you so surprised? Weren’t you going to live with Kael?” 

I turned to look at Kael. 

We’d agreed to rent the Times Apartments downtown. It was close to his company. 

He avoided my gaze.

“Sienna just started her new job, and she says she’s scared to live by herself.” 

“You know, if the five of us split up, our wolves won’t adjust well.” 

“So I’m planning to move to Maplewood Apartments first. I can look after her day to day. Of course, you can 

live with me.” 

I gripped my cup tighter. 

“What about the apartment we picked out?” 

“Just cancel it.” 

He said it so naturally. 

“If you want to live there, you can renew the lease yourself. Once Sienna adjusts, I’ll move in.” 

“How long will that take?”

“What if she never adjusts?” 

Kael thought I was being pushy. His tone dropped. 

“She’s your sister. She said she’s scared. Can’t you be understanding?” 

I looked at the four people in front of me.

I stood up, my breath trembling.
