Summer kept her eyes on the road ahead and explained simply, “I left Aspira Design Institute and returned to Stewart Group.

“While you were on your business trip. 

“Why didn’t you mention it last night?” 

“You didn’t ask. Besides, he didn’t exactly give her the chance to talk.

With one hand on the wheel and the other resting against the window, Fraser glanced at the rearview mirror. 

She didn’t even look back after getting out, and just walked straight into Stewart Group’s building. 

Fraser let out a quiet scoff. Leaving Aspira Design Institute and returning to Stewart Group? There was no way it was as simple as she made it sound. It would be easy for him to find out what happened–just one word, and his people would dig up everything

Just then, his phone rang from the center console. Fraser glanced at the screen; it was Helen.
