Marcel stared at her for a while and said, “Did Mom say something to you again? I have dated many girls before and have long understood the taste of love.” 

“It’s you who should try and experience more now so that it will be less likely for you to make mistakes when you get married in the future. Of course, even if you don’t get married, your family can still afford to support you.” 

Jocelynn stared at him and smiled, but didn’t say anything. 

Alyssa had already told her that her brother was a workaholic and had never even touched a girl’s 

hand.

Then she took a sip of tea and said, “Anyway, when it comes to emotions, you don’t need to worry

He glanced at his phone and said, “But I have to go to the study to work first. You can take a look and 

see if there’s anything you want to buy. We can either go together after I finish my work, or you can 

go with Mom when she comes back.” 

Jocelynn knew he was busy and urged him to get to work quickly. 

Marcel had just gotten up when Kaeden and Alyssa walked in from the door. 

They both called out, “Dad, Mom.” 

Kaeden looked at everyone and announced, “Tomorrow night, you guys don’t need to go out. Orlando is coming back from abroad, and David invited us to have dinner together.” 

Jocelynn paused for a moment and looked at everyone with some confusion.

Marcel looked at his sister’s appearance and kindly reminded her, “Orlando used to hold you when you were little. Every time he held you, you would cry, and he almost dropped you.” 

Jocelynn had no impression, but there was still a hint of embarrassment on her face. 

She glared at him and said, “Who remembers things from childhood?”

Marcel gave up and then he straightened his face to ask his father. 

“Didn’t Orlando usually come back only during the New Year? Why did he suddenly come back so 

much earlier?” 

Orlando is one year older and also steadier and more mature in his actions. 

They have been running the family business abroad for so many years, and it has been two years 

since they last saw each other. 

“Grandma Orlando was getting old, and her health had been deteriorating over the past few years. She asked him to come back and stay for a few years, as who knows when…” 

Kaeden spoke and let out a heavy sigh. 

The Stout family and the Parker family were close friends, not relatives, but even closer than 

family.

She also followed along involuntarily, drinking quite a bit of alcohol. 

She felt sick and vomited. When there was no one around, she tugged on Marcel’s sleeve.

She was startled for a moment, “What are you doing here?”
