Chapter 7
I spent the whole day out having a blast with Julian, only returning home well after dark.
Sebastian seemed to be already asleep. The house was dead quiet, not a single light on.
I quietly helped Julian pack his bags and whispered a reminder:
“You’re sleeping alone tonight. Don’t wander off tomorrow morning; the transport will be here to pick you up.”
Julian nodded, flashing his cute fangs as he said goodbye: “Bye, Master.”
Goodbyes are always a bit depressing.
My nose felt a bit stingy, so I hurried back to my bedroom.
After hitting my activity goals for the day, I crashed onto the bed and fell into a deep sleep the second my
head hit the pillow.
But in that half-awake, half-asleep haze, I suddenly felt a hot, heavy breath fanning against my neck.
I let out a dissatisfied mumble and lazily rolled over, only to tumble straight into a burning-hot embrace.
In that split second, I was wide awake!
Just as I was about to panic and scream for help, a kiss fell upon me.
It was heavy, wet, and lingering, kissing me senseless
After what felt like forever, the man finally let go.
In the darkness, I couldn’t make out his face, only the feeling of his forehead pressed against mine.
gasped for fresh air and asked cautiously, “Is that you, Julian?”
The man didn’t say a word, but I could feel his eyelashes fluttering against my skin.
I tried to push him away. “Don’t…”
“It’s me,” the man interrupted.
“Master, it’s Julian.”
Instinctively, I felt like it didn’t sound like Julian’s voice, but the man quickly launched another assault,
picking up right where he left off.
In my daze, I felt like a lonely boat in a vast ocean, hitting a dangerous rapid, swaying and rocking uncontrollably…
It was an intense, soul-stirring encounter.
But the next morning, my entire body was aching.

I must have overslept. Sebastian saw that I hadn’t gotten up and knocked on the door to bring in breakfast
“Where’s Julian?”
The moment I spoke, I realized my voice was totally trashed and raspy.
“No. Clue.” Sebastian said, emphasizing each word.
“Ahem.” I cleared my throat. “Well, let’s eat breakfast.”
I told Sebastian to sit down and eat with me.
But when he sat, I actually spotted several hickeys on his neck!
Clatter!
I slammed my fork down and asked through gritted teeth, “What’s the deal with your neck?”
“Where were you last night? You weren’t home?”
I thought he’d been hiding all night, but it turns out he’d snuck out for a date!
He usually acts like he can’t, but he chose to go out the one time I wasn’t home?
If he could do the s//ex why couldn’t he do it with me?!
A surge of unnamed fury rushed to my head.
Even I was startled by my own reaction.
Sebastian kept his head down and stayed silent. Usually so straightforward, he was now stuttering, unable to
give me a straight answer!
I got even angrier and raised my voice at him.
He stopped talking and suddenly looked up, his gaze crashing into mine-just staring at me quietly with clear
eyes.
Soon, he turned his face away, a flush of red creeping onto the tips of his ears.
I understood in an instant and stopped asking.
Sebastian had feelings.
I didn’t know who it was for, but it definitely wasn’t for a “hated owner” like me.
Ultimately, I chose to finish my porridge in silence.
Because of the pickup, I took the morning off to wait with Julian.
But I waited and waited, and Julian never came out.

Even the door was locked from the inside.
I banged on the door: “Julian, are you awake? Open up.”
There was no response from inside.
Sebastian suddenly grabbed my wrist. “Stop. He’s not opening that door.”
I froze and asked instinctively, “What did you do to him?”
The concierge’s warning about “tearing each other apart” flashed through my mind.
A pit formed in my stomach.
Sebastian’s expression was gloomy. “Do you really care about him that much? What if I told you that you’d
never see him again?”
“Have you lost your mind?” I violently shook off his hand.
“What did Julian ever do to you?”
We stood there in a standoff.
The deadlock was broken by the sound of the doorbell.
The person coming to pick up Julian was here.
Just as I was about to open the door, Sebastian gave me a forceful tug, and I stumbled right into his arms.
“Seraphina, don’t open that door.”
“I don’t want to leave you.”
I was totally confused.
The next second, without any warning, Sebastian dropped to his knees, his eyes terrifyingly bloodshot.
I was stunned for a few seconds and tried to pull him up. “What are you doing?”
Sebastian stubbornly refused to move. The veins on the back of his hands were bulging, and his lips were
trembling.
“I know you prefer Julian, but if I can’t stay by your side, no one else gets to have you.”
“Hate me or ignore me, I don’t care. But I am not leaving with them today!”
