The Lucan Marked Me - Chapter (83)

Chapter 83
Logan
I stood frozen the second she stepped out of the bathroom. Dear goddess, it was torture staring at her. The
faint dampness of her silky skin caught in the soft light of her room, the towel covering her body enough
to taunt me with the goodness that lay underneath. Months of silence and distance melted away in an instant, replaced by the overwhelming ache to claim her, to make sure she knew just how much she
belonged to me.
She held her towel tighter to herself, an almost laughable attempt to shield herself from the weight of my gaze. I’d acted like I hadn’t seen the subtle signs she’d been giving all night. Wanting for once to be a gentleman with her and give her the treatment she deserved. She would never know what being so close to her and having to stop myself from touching her had done to me. She would never know… until I showed it
to her.
And I fully intended to.
She took a tentative step into the room, as though she knew how much I was struggling to keep a leash on
my emotions and stop myself from going at her like a starved beast. The way she was looking at me made
my breath hitch and my blood run hot. I wanted her in every way, but more than that, I wanted to hold the
fragile pieces of her that she’d kept locked away. I cocked a finger at her, motioning her to step forward.
My shoulders relaxed when she did.
She wouldn’t fight me. Not tonight, and hopefully not ever. “Elias…” She began gently when there was only
a few centimeter distance between us.
“Is fast asleep.” I replied simply.
Later we would talk about setting up a surveillance camera in Elias’s room. She hadn’t outrightly said it but
I knew she was worried for his safety. Later we would have the discussion. Right now…
I let my gaze dip down, let my eyes lazily roam the length of her trim figure. When I lifted my eyes back to
hers, I noted the way her pupils had dilated. “Take off your towel,” I ordered. A pause. And then the white cloth fell to the floor. Our eyes locked, and then I let mine fall down to the soft swell of her breasts, puckered dusky nipples. I let my gaze dip even more, to the bareness of her mound.

Chapter 83
A strangled groan echoed at the back of my throat.
She stood before me, radiant and breathtaking, every inch of her igniting something fierce and tender inside me. “God, you’re beautiful,” I murmured, breaking the silence between us. We stood frozen for a
beat, the air between us crackling with tension. I lifted a hand, trembling with the need to touch her, to
make sure she was real. My fingers brushed her cheek, and she leaned in as if she’d been waiting for that
touch forever.
“I need you,” I said, my voice rougher than I’d ever heard it but steady. My hands moved instinctively to
trace the curve of her neck, down to the slope of her collarbone. She closed her eyes against my touch, and
when she opened them again, there was only a raw, aching want. She took a step forward, pressing her
body so closely against mine I could feel every inch of her even with my clothes still on. She stood on her
tiptoes, her voice dripping with honey.
“Have me then.”
She didn’t need to tell me twice.
I tangled my fingers in her air, pulling her even tighter against me as I molded my lips with hers, pulling
her into a kiss that was both desperate and worshipful. I pushed away from her, desperate to feel my skin
against hers. She waited, rather impatiently as I completely stepped out of my clothes until there was no
longer a barrier between us. Pulling her to myself, I once again joined my lips with hers.
The world outside ceased to exist. It was just her and me, skin on skin, heart pounding against heart, a
fierce promise woven into every touch. I wanted to memorize every inch of her-the softness of her hips,
the strength in her thighs, the way her breath hitched when I kissed the sensitive spot behind her ear. We
moved together slowly at first, like we were learning the language of each other’s bodies all over again.
It had been such a long time. Six years. I’d almost forgotten how responsive she was to my touch, how hot
her skin felt against mine. Our tongues engaged in a slow battle, one neither of us were really bothered
about winning. And then slowly, our pace quickened as the passion between us flared into something wild and uncontrollable. I snaked my hand around her waist, gently guiding her towards the door.
She arched into me the moment her back met with the coldness of the door. I took the opportunity to run my hands along the roundness of her ass, squeezing until I was sure my fingers were going to leave imprints. A voice at the back of my head reminded me I needed to be gentle with her, even though that seemed like an impossible feat right now. I needed her more than I needed my next breath.

Chapter 83
Pressing her firmly against the door, I began leaving featherlight down the curve of her neck, across her collarbone, her shoulder. I cupped her breasts, closing my lips around the hardened tip of her nipple. Her hands in my hair tightened as she pressed my head even tighter against her tit. I sucked the pebbled flesh into my mouth, twirling my tongue round the smooth skin of her nipple. I bit down on the soft flesh,
numbing the pain with my tongue before she had any time to protest.
I moved my attention to her other breast, giving it all the love the first one had received. I kissed the valley between her breasts, gently moving south until I was on my knees in front of her, and my lips were only a hair’s width distance away from her wet center. I blew air against her pussy, watching the way she
quivered before me. She tucked her head, her gaze helplessly colliding with mine.
“Logan…”
One word.
But I completely understood.
I closed the distance before me…
And feasted.
