I stirred the next morning, opening my eyes and instinctively turning my head. The bed was empty. Either

for Elias’s safety to spook her a little, but if anything, they only caused a relieved expression to appear on

her face. She was slowly coming to terms with the reality that as long as she was my mate and Elias

remained my heir, the shadow of danger would never fully disappear. Her acceptance warmed my heart.

Chapter 85

Before I had the chance to speak, the little devil in question strolled into the kitchen. He hugged my legs,
