Alpha King Julian’s POV 

Let me start by introducing myself. 

I’m Julian Wexler-the Alpha King, ruler of all werewolves. 

I’m 21 years old, naturally tanned, with eyes as bluc as the ocean-eyes my mother insists my mate will never be able to resist. 

Yes, I’m still very much a Mama’s boy. 

I’m bi-racial-my mother is white, my father is Black. 

I’ve been waiting eagerly to meet my second chance mate, the one chosen for me by the Moon Goddess. 

My parents, the former King and Queen, encouraged me to visit the pack of their closest friends, Alpha Dorian and Luna Camilla. 

Tonight marks a significant event-their triplets are turning 18 and will shift for the first time. And, finally, their daughter Skyla has agreed to come to the palace to help train our female 

warriors. 

The last time I saw Skyla, she was just 16. Even then, she was stunning, though she tried to hide it. 

If she turned out to be my mate, I would be over the moon. 

Her sister, Selene, on the other hand, threw herself at me back then. I quickly shut that down. 

I don’t waste time with girls like her. I’ve always saved myself for my mate. 

Right now, I’m pacing quietly as I wait for Alpha Dorian to announce my presence. 

Inside my head, my wolf, Rig, is restless-chanting “Mate, Mate, Mate… Mate is here!” 

“Calm down, Rig. You’re giving me a headache,” I mutter. 

He whines in return, “I want our mate.” 

I tell him I do too, but we have to be patient.
