Chapter 371 The Bloodline Is Banned
Lady Flourish POV
The first accusation against F-Tech had been about weapons. The next was about control.
By breakfast, several accounts were sharing the same claim: I had used the company to build a network of packs that would eventually answer to me.
The First Alpha bloodline, they said, was never meant to protect anyone. It was a tool for gathering power.
The posts included photographs of me at meetings, screenshots of F-Tech’s announcements, and clips from visits to packs that had asked for our help. Each piece was real. The story built around them was not.
I read the reports in my office while Rhys stood by the desk with.a tablet.
“They’ve stopped defending the forged documents,” he said. “Now they argue the documents don’t matter, because your bloodline gives you enough influence to control the packs anyway.”
“Has any pack confirmed that?”
“Not publicly. A few asked for clarification. Two postponed their calls with us.”
“They’re trying to make every decision we’ve made look like part of a plan.”
“They’re also calling you the First Alpha’s heir. Some posts say the old bloodline should have authority over every pack connected to it.”
“That isn’t how it works, and they know it.”
I wasn’t sure the truth would be enough. Packs worked with F-Tech because they controlled their own information, could leave whenever they wanted, and could refuse any service we offered.
It was all in their agreements. But people who feared the bloodline wouldn’t necessarily read them before deciding what to believe.
Damian called while Rhys was still there. I put him on speaker and explained.
“They’re making you the threat now,” he said. “Let me issue a statement from Dartwood. I’ll make it clear no one controls us through your bloodline”
“They’ll say you’re defending me because we’re mates.”
“So I say nothing while they attack my wife?”
“I didn’t say that. The response has to be about facts, Damian, not who I’m married to.”
He exhaled. “Fine. Our legal team will review the evidence and prepare something that doesn’t speak for F- Tech.”
Before noon, the accusations had spread past the usual accounts. A commentator who covered pack politics asked whether the First Alpha bloodline should be allowed to run a private communications

Then someone release
old clip of me explaining the bloodline emergency protocol. They had cut the part where I described each pack’s right to withdraw, leaving only how the network identiked bloodītne sagnals.
I watched it once. “Save it, and keep the gal beside it with the timestamp We need to show exactly what was removed”
Rhys was already on it when Cheryl koord and came in withenst waiting
“Flourish, you need us see this,” She handed me her phone. Alive broadcast shoe Ammara in front of a group of reporters outside the F-Tech markhurug

My fingers tightened and her piacer
“Flourish could have done the water tetrad the gave for choices, even when she was afraid to make one she disagreed with
“But doesn’t your shared bloodere ge hart urtice over you” a reporter called
*No. Being related to someone doesn’t mean they own you. I stayed because I wanted to I can leave, and she knows that. F-Tech’s agreements let packs refuse its help and withdraw. If you have evidence those rights were taken away, show it. Don’t call our bloodline proof of a crime”
The reporters talked over one another She answered one more question, then turned from the cameras and went inside.
I hadn’t realized I was holding my breath until Cheryl took the phone from my hand.
“She didn’t tell anyone she was doing that,” I said.
“No.” Cheryl said.
Rhys had stopped working to watch the replay. “It’s spreading. People are sharing the full clip, not just edited pieces. Some are asking why the accusations show no evidence that any pack was forced to join.”
We could use that, but I couldn’t stop picturing Amara alone in front of those cameras. She had spent years hidden because others believed her blood made her dangerous. Now the same people might turn on her
The door opened and Amara came in. I stood. “Are you all right?”

“I’m fine. I should have told you first, but if I’d waited, I might have talked myself out of it.”
“You didn’t have to defend me.”
“I know. I wanted to.”
I sat down, unsure what to say. She had made her own choice, in public, without asking what I preferred. I wouldn’t take that from her by turning it into something else I needed to manage.
My phone buzzed. The headline read: “SECOND VESSEL DEFENDS FLOURISH AS BLOODLINE CONTROVERSY DEEPENS.”
Amara read it over my shoulder. “They’re going to make this about me now, aren’t they?”
“They might try. But they don’t get to decide what your words mean.”
