The Rejected Luna’s Secret - Chapter (2)
Ch. The Rejected Luna’s Secret 2 The Rejected Luna’s Secret 2
Chapter 2
“What?”
I had once been the woman he held gently, the one he loved. How could I let it go?
So I completely lost it, making a scene in her house without caring about dignity.
I even started a livestream, yelling hoarsely that I was the original composer.
I thought this would corner her, make her return both the composition and Joshua to me.
But instead, she wiped her tears and whispered bravely, “Joshua, I am not afraid of her.”
“You forgot, I am the bravest shewolf in the pack. I love you, and I want to be with you.”
“Luna Allison, if you give up the position of Luna, I will admit the piece is yours.”
Her performance ignited Joshua’s protectiveness.
That night, he held a pack meeting as Alpha.
“My Luna, out of jealousy for Sarah’s talent, stole her composition before the competition. I caught
her in time and returned it.”
“The truth is, Luna Allison does not know how to play the violin at all. I spoiled her, bought her trophies, and made her believe she had talent.”
“And the rumor about me and Sarah was nothing but her attempt to frame Sarah.”
“Please do not misunderstand Sarah. She is a hardworking shewolf.”
With a few simple sentences and a forged medical report, he labeled me mentally unstable.
And that same night, the name Sarah Grant went viral. She became the celebrated prodigy of the
violin world.
As for me, I fell into depression. On my worst day, I lost control of my own body and fell off a cliff.
When I woke up, Joshua was standing in front of me with a bondbreaking deal.
“Allison, do you realize how frightening you are?”
That moment shattered something in me. Without hesitation, I signed.
So yes, he destroyed my dream with his own hands. And now, he wanted to buy it back with money?
What a joke.

i snapped back to reality, pulled the new order slip from my bag, and handed it back to him.
Then, right in front of him, I called the store. “Please deliver the violin I originally ordered.”
“If you ever allow strangers to alter my order again, I will file a complaint.”
I walked past him.
He reached to grab me, but I stepped aside and lifted my eyes toward the woman behind him.
“Alpha Joshua, with the way you throw money at other women, are you sure your Luna will not get
jealous?”
Following my gaze, he turned. A woman holding a Starbucks cup walked toward us.
It was Sarah Grant.
The naïve girl from years ago had become the pampered, polished Luna under Joshua’s care.
Yet the cloying perfume she wore was as suffocating as ever.
She was still several steps away, and I already sneezed three times.
Joshua immediately shrugged off his jacket and draped it over my shoulders.
“You always get sick when the weather shifts. Let me take you to the healer hall.”
Before I could refuse, Sarah stepped in front of him.
Then she hooked her arm through mine and exclaimed, “Allison, it really is you. I thought I
recognized the wrong person.”
She smiled radiantly, but her eyes were sharp with jealousy.
“I mean no offense. I just did not expect to see you in such a highend music store.”
“Oh, and my husband is nostalgic. If you ever need help, he definitely will.”
